Rabid Fans Delivers Iconic Five-Word Webby Speech

Rabid Fans had a big night at the 2026 Webby Awards, taking home both the Webby Award and the People’s Voice Award for Best Creator in Sports.

Co-creators Mike Basone and Zac Greenbaum accepted the awards and joined the festivities alongside some of the top creators, storytellers, brands, and digital teams in the world. For a series built around sports fans, loud opinions, animated chaos, and sharp comedic commentary, the recognition marks a major milestone for the growing Rabid Fans universe.

But of course, Pete, Croach, Lulu, and Frankie needed their own moment.

In true Webby tradition, the characters delivered their own iconic five-word acceptance speech, thanking the fans who helped turn the show from a wild idea into an award-winning sports entertainment series.
